Internal committees

To ensure a bright future to the industry, the Réseau végétal Québec has implemented different operational committees to help develop a sectoral approach. It is also involved in several sectoral committees, projects and multidisciplinary groups.

The Fertilizer Committee is one of Réseau végétal Québec’s Permanent Committees, in charge of monitoring the fertilizer industry’s political, regulatory and economic issues, as well as the necessary follow-ups.

The Partners Committee – Crop Protection is another Réseau végétal Québec’s Permanent Committee. Its mandate is the monitoring of the crop protection industry’s political, regulatory and economic issues, as well as the necessary follow-ups.

The Crop Protection Advisory Committee is another Réseau végétal Québec’s Permanent Committee. It is charged with the implementation of the 4B protocol-related programs, and aims to:

  • Develop a 4R training for the advisory services of the Réseau végétal Québec’s network
  • Set up the 4R management plans with the farm producers
  • Work with the Partners Committee to promote the adoption of the 4R project
  • Be involved in the promotion of the measure of the repercussions of these efforts on the economy, the environment and society
  • Work towards the development of a long-term monitoring of the program’s efficiency

The Communication and Members Service Committee is a Permanent Committee aiming to improve communications to the members and support the actions of the Association to consolidate and increase membership.

The governance of this committee will be reviewed in 2025.

The Finance Committee is mainly working on the integrity of financial information, internal audit, financial statements, as well as setting up control mechanisms, risk management process and optimal financial resource utilization plan.
